The Midlife Reset Retreat
3 nights in Big Bear
Midlife is not an ending. It's a threshold.
This retreat is an invitation to honor the transitional energy of midlife. To rest. To reset. To gather with others who are navigating this same passage and to remember that you don't have to do it alone.
The stories we've been told about midlife - that it's a crisis, a decline, a fading, that you should shrink, settle, or step aside - aren't true. And they don't have to be yours. Shed what no longer serves you and step into what does. Reclaim your energy, your pleasure, your presence… not as you were, but as you're becoming.
What to expect.
Through guided experiences, restorative space, and shared wisdom you will reset from stress, burnout and midlife fatigue. The long weekend is designed to help you slow down, return to yourself and connect over good food. Downtime is built into every day and most offerings are optional.
❋ Intentional Structure❋ Expert FacilitationLed by experienced guides, you'll learn about what's actually happening in your mind and body during this transition (the fundamentals that no one bothered to teach us). You will leave with practical tools for tending to the needs your body has been whispering about and the desires you may have been too busy to hear.
We will move with intention. There will be morning movement to awaken your body. Excursions in nature. Space to rest your body. An infrared sauna to refresh and detox. Some rooms offer jacuzzi tubs for soaking.
❋ Movement❋ Nourishing FoodAll meals will be prepared from local farms with attention to what midlife bodies need. You'll explore food as both medicine and pleasure. You’ll also have an opportunity to prepare a meal together featuring easy recipes you can take home with you.
You'll be held in ritual and practice. This is not a productivity retreat. There are no action items or performance metrics here. This is about presence, resetting your system, and release so you can open space for the parts of yourself that are ready to come forward.
❋ RitualYou’ll connect with others embracing their midlife transformation over meals, in conversation and fireside revelry, learning together in workshops, and in nature. This retreat is as much about being witnessed and held by others who understand as it is about the programming.
❋ CommunityYou’ll leave with…
Practices you can return to. Recipes that nourish your body. A resourced community who see you. A sense of what your midlife transition asks of you and permission to answer. And most importantly, a different story about this phase of life. One that centers your wisdom, your aliveness, and your becoming.
The Details.
Three nights in a beautiful mountain home surrounded by trees. All meals included - farm-sourced, lovingly prepared, crafted for midlife nutrition and tailored to any sensitivities or easting restrictions in the group. (alcohol & cannabis are not prohibited but will not be provided.) Access to an infrared sauna and beautiful views. Some rooms have jacuzzi tubs too. Morning movement and intentional nature outings. Curated programming with plenty of time for rest and integration.
This space is intentionally limited to preserve intimacy and care.
There's no right way to move through midlife. But there are ways that feel more honest, more nourished and more alive.

ABOUT US
Kat & Sarah will soon celebrate 20 years of friendship and queer magic making. Sarah, a certified intimacy and relationship coach, brings thousands of hours of pleasure coaching and education, helps clients access pleasure as a practice (not a luxury), deprogram shame and burnout, and build a relationship with desire. Kat, a chef and former owner of WEOP (a popular specialty coffee and brunch spot in Long Beach), combines seasonal farm-to-table and conscious food principals, locally sourced food and natural health training into her menus.
This retreat is what happens when a pleasure coach and a chef decide to create something nourishing together. We're weaving our expertise into an experience that honors the fullness of midlife: the pleasure, the transition, the nourishment, and the unlearning - and we are thrilled to share it with you.
